Team Funding Guide is published by The Rural Advisor, LLC ("The Rural Advisor," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us. When you submit one of our forms (for example, to join a waitlist or download a checklist), we collect the email address you enter, and we record which of our sites the request came from so we can send you the right updates. We do not require your name, phone number, or payment information to use this site.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

How we use it

We use your email address only to send you what you asked for — grant updates, guide releases, or notice when our tools launch. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address, and we do not send you unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that operate this site on our behalf — currently our hosting provider (Netlify) and our database provider (Supabase) — and only so they can store and deliver it for us. We may also disclose information if required by law. We never sell your data.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we use website analytics, we use a privacy-respecting measure of aggregate traffic that does not build a personal profile of you.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. You can also ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing contact@theruraladvisor.com. We will honor valid requests.

Data retention

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which we remove it from our active list.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above.
