For parents & families
Help for families with registration fees
The fastest money in youth sports goes to families, not leagues — up to $150 per child toward registration. Parents apply; the funds pay your league. Here are the programs that are open now.
This guide is for parents and families. If cost is the reason a kid might sit out a season, this is where you start — and it’s often faster than any grant a league could win, because the money follows the child.
Open right now
- Every Kid Sports Pass is the big one, and the Fall 2026 pass is open. It covers up to $150 per child toward recreational registration for families on Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC (kids 4–18, seasons of 4+ weeks). A parent applies online in a few minutes; if approved, the funds load to a card that pays the league directly — so don’t pay out of pocket first, because there are no reimbursements.
- All Kids Play gives income-based family grants (up to $350 per sport) for registration, equipment, and fees — and unlike Every Kid Sports, it allows some travel-sport costs. It’s rolling and first-come, so apply at least 30 days before your registration deadline.
Closed, but coming back
The T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant — which has covered fees for 82,000+ families since 2020 — has closed its 2026 window. It has historically reopened in mid-January for the spring season, so watch for it then.
A note for league organizers
Leagues can’t apply for these on families’ behalf — but the single highest-value thing you can do is email these links to your parents the day registration opens. One message converts families who’d otherwise sit the season out.
